look at this table that looks like it was inspired by suspension bridges. this is a great table no doubt!

it has four legs like many other tables but the main table part actually floats around them because it's held up by some bands that hold it up. it reminds me a lot of suspension bridges that have the road way held up from towers by some cables.

i like the visual effect that it gives the table. it makes it look like the table top is sort of just floating there which i think is very relaxing but also trendy and modern at the same time. i really like this table!

i like fixtures that look like they are completely part of the house like this sink for example. this sink is special because it looks like it's a slice out of the wall! the front of it has a gentle curve upward and it's decorated the same as the wall so it looks seamless. it's just like the sink has sprouted from the wall!

doing this makes the sink feel like it's more than just a sink. it's not just a fixture any more but it's part of the spirit of the house. the house is tightly integrated with the sink and the sink is tightly integrated with the house and together they become one!

i saw two table designs that i really like and now i want to share them with you. the first one is this coffee table that reminds me of my very first computer so many years ago. it has a shape like those old video games where there are big pixels and so the game pictures look blocky. this is actually a look that maybe isn't so good for computer games any more but it's a look that's very very good for tables it turns out! these tables have a vintage digital look to them. it makes me think back to better years that's for sure!

the other table i want to write about is this great birch coffee table. what i like most about this coffee table is how it looks and feels so natural! it reminds me of the big log pile behind my grandpappy's house. he'd pile his wood logs there and when they were dry he'd bring them indoors and he'd put them in his roaring fireplace where they'd keep us warm when we visited during the cold winter months. this table just has such a natural feeling because each and every log is unique and when you put them together you get a table that isn't like any other. that's what makes it such a special table.

when i think if sprinklers like the kind used to water lawns and gardens and fields i think of a very industrial one that's made of dull grey metal and maybe it's even rusty because it's old and industrial and it has been subjected to the elements for many years. but today i learned that that doesn't have to be the case! there are now very trendy sprinklers that aren't just good looking but they have all sorts of high tech wizardry that makes them real winners.

i really like the white color of this sprinkler. it's just so trendy and it's just so different from traditional sprinklers and irrigation systems. when you put those in your yard it's not because they look good but just because you need to water your lawn or your garden. but that's not so with this trendy sprinkler. it looks really good and when you use it you're using it for irrigation but you're also using it because it got a nice looking design. just because it's a sprinkler it doesn't mean that it can't look good too!

while i was looking at house plans a few days ago i came across this great studio house that's shaped like a tower. i think this is an absolutely great house because it has a great tower shape and it fits so much inside it too.

the lower floor has a garage area that looks like it has enough room for a car and there'd still be space left over for other things. the floor plan shows room for a kayak or a canoe or a boat of some kind but i think this area of the garage could also be used for storage or for a small workshop. this could be a great area to do some woodworking. off to the one side there is an entrance hallway that's connected to the garage and to an entry that's off to the side of the house. this entry area has a closet at one end near the door to the garage and then on the opposite side there are stairs leading up to the upper floor.

the stairs leading to the upper floor are shaped like the letter l. at the top they end at the kitchen area. this kitchen area is actually very complete given its small size. it looks like there is room for a small fridge and there's a stove and there's a sink and some counter space too! across from this kitchen area there's the bathroom. it has a toilet and a sink and a shower too.

the rest of the upper floor is best described as the living area. here we have a small closet and the rest of the room is basically a rectangular area. there's a fold out bed along the wall shared with the bedroom. i think this is a great idea because when there's not much space to work with then it's really important to make the best use possible of the space that is available and using a fold out bed is a great way of doing this. when the bed is out of the way then the area where the bed normally is can be used as a living area with some chairs and maybe a sofa too. even with the bed in the down position there's still space in this room for a small dining area.

this is a very compact tower house. it has a great outer appearance but it's also got a lot of the things we'd expect from a much larger house. i really like how it looks from the outside though. the tower look is unique and very special.
